Well, up here in the North it is always a great hope that the weather will be at least half way decent for the trick or treaters. Our day started out great. Tara wanted to be a cowgirl again (she was one last Halloween, and also had a cowgirl themed birthday this past summer). So cowgirl she was from the hat on her head to the braids in her hair. At school they had their annual parade and the weather was great for that. Once we saw Tara, Madeline ran to her sissy, and joined her for the rest of the distance.
After the parade, it was back into the classroom for a big Halloween party.
With all kinds of fun games like Pin The Nose On The Jack-O-Lantern
And getting wrapped up like a "mummy" by "mommy" and breaking free.
Even Madeline got into that game. Note...Madeline wanted no part of her costume once indoors.
There were all kinds of activities at school from making Halloween picture frames, hearing stories, playing games, cookie decorating to a junk food feast. After school, we went to my girlfriends (and Tara's best friend Haley's) house for dinner, and then it was time to head out for trick or treating. And yes, as you can see, it was COLD!!!
Almost right away, Tara and Haley ran into a some friends from school, and I took a "girlfriend" picture
.

Haley's little brother Timmy and Madeline tired out and needed to be pulled from house to house. All in all, despite the cold, we all had a great Halloween!!
Prayers were said, thanks was given and off to dreamland they quickly drifted....
