Imagine It

 Heavenly Bodies....

I have been unable to blog any photos recently as blogstream has limited the amount of photos allowed in one's gallery. I have finally worked something out with them and I'm FINALLY back with a new post. I have been trying so hard to photograph the moon, but at night I just can't seem to do it. It always turns out like a non distinct blob of light. Friday morning, I decided to try a daytime moon and here is the result.

Thursday night, I took a walk around my property and shot these pictures. The stars are so beautiful where I live since there are no city lights.

It feels good to be back

 It's Halloween Fun!!!!

Well, up here in the North it is always a great hope that the weather will be at least half way decent for the trick or treaters. Our day started out great. Tara wanted to be a cowgirl again (she was one last Halloween, and also had a cowgirl themed birthday this past summer). So cowgirl she was from the hat on her head to the braids in her hair. At school they had their annual parade and the weather was great for that. Once we saw Tara, Madeline ran to her sissy, and joined her for the rest of the distance.

After the parade, it was back into the classroom for a big Halloween party.

With all kinds of fun games like Pin The Nose On The Jack-O-Lantern

And getting wrapped up like a "mummy" by "mommy" and breaking free.

Even Madeline got into that game. Note...Madeline wanted no part of her costume once indoors.

There were all kinds of activities at school from making Halloween picture frames, hearing stories, playing games, cookie decorating to a junk food feast. After school, we went to my girlfriends (and Tara's best friend Haley's) house for dinner, and then it was time to head out for trick or treating. And yes, as you can see, it was COLD!!!

Almost right away, Tara and Haley ran into a some friends from school, and I took a "girlfriend" picture .

Haley's little brother Timmy and Madeline tired out and needed to be pulled from house to house. All in all, despite the cold, we all had a great Halloween!!

Prayers were said, thanks was given and off to dreamland they quickly drifted....

 The Eyes Of The Innocent

These are the eyes of my baby Madeline.

These eyes are pure of heart. They have nothing to fear, and nothing to worry about. They are protected from the attempts of this world to corrupt them. They are filled with complete carefree joy at most every moment of every day.

They are curious, exploring, learning, and thirsting for more. These eyes look up to her sister as she imitates and emulates everything she does. They are loving, kind, and at a tender young age aware of her boundaries.

These are the eyes of my big girl Tara.

She is wise beyond her years. They are the eyes of an incredible child who's heart reflects the light of Christ. They are totally innocent. They worry for nothing and love life. These eyes are totally protected by the attempts of this world to corrupt and sexualize her from an early age. These eyes are protected from violence on T.V., video games, and objectionable advertisements.

These eyes are innocent because she is still a baby and I won't let this world ruin her one chance to be a child. These eyes are so in love with her sissy. This child always thinks of her baby sister and includes her in everything. Believe it or not, they never fight with each other.

Those are the eyes of my children. I will lock out the world of corruption, violence, body image issues, eating disorders, and the lack of basic morals and family values in today's society. I will pray for their safety, happiness, and innocence always. I am their mommy. My husband and I are their ONLY buffer from the ways of the world. I will be an impenetrable wall of protection. When I look into their eyes I feel so incredibly blessed that they are mine. I am such a lucky woman to have these two amazing children. When I look into these eyes, I am able to see the world with innocence again.  Thank you Lord.

Have you EVER seen such a thing???

The other day, I posted a blog titled "Evening Glow". I had taken a picture of this beautiful tree. Upon looking at it again, I saw a striking resemblance to a human in the trunk. It had legs, feet, arms, and a head. I cropped it closer as the bark was so distinct in the evening lighting, and low and behold....I saw this face looking right into my lense!!

 More of the evening glow

Yesterday evening I went to my mom's house. These pictures were taken in route to her house, and at her house. It started out very overcast and then the sun broke through the clouds to reveal the beautiful evening glow. Here is the result
