 Global warming?? Puh...leez!!

I thought it was supposed to be Autumn, NOT winter. Damn human race causing this horrible global warming which has actually decreased the temperature of the oceans in the last 3 years and cause winter to hit in MI well before Halloween. Sheesh! According to an MSNBC article on 9/21/06, "Researchers have not yet identified the cause of ocean cooling in the last three years but hope that further studies will clarify this anomaly." Here's the link for anyone interested http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/14944138/ I swear....these scientists just crack me up. They can't understand why it is happening, after all, they clearly should be increasing in temperature amidst all the global warming but yet the oceans have cooled. I wonder what Al Gore has to say about that new scientific finding. Now instead of reevaluating their theory, they will spend millions more on research to see why the temps are colder (Great use of federal grant money). I remember back in the 70's when scientists were telling us we were "heading for another ice age". It is just absolutely laughable.

 My poor baby...

....got a big, big boo boo today. She fell and hit her face on the coffee table. I was totally freaked out. She was bleeding really bad and I was ready to pack her up and take her to ER for stitches. My sister was over and would have stayed with Tara. But just for extra assurance, I called my neighbor over for her opinion. She said not to take her. She said it didn't look bad enough for stitches as there was no gaping wound, just swelling. So we stayed home and gave baby some Motrin and popsicles for the pain and swelling.

She's her mommy's baby.  With all the pictures I take of my children, she was able to stop crying and smile for the camera.  What a trooper.

 Stormy day today...

We had a lot of rain today. The first picture here was taken out my front window. The second picture I took on the way home after dropping Tara off at school. It is my neighbors property. It's a beautiful lot. They have a lot of beautiful maple trees.

 Yesterday's pictures...

Tara and Madeline's cousins came over to play. My sister Rebecca and her little boy are visiting from TX, and my niece Shannon and her daughter Scarlett live nearby. The kids had a fun day together riding the power wheels, playing on the playscape, and exploring the woods. Mommy had fun taking pictures.  I love the beautiful fall backdrop to all the pictures.

Caleb was a "mad man" on the powerwheels and everyone was running from him. He didn't quiet get the whole steering thing, and he was oblivious to it all.  He was just happy to be in control.

 Lord you are truly amazing

I am just taken aback at the color I have found this fall season. It is His continued artistry around every bend. Here are a few of today's pictures. Thank you Lord for making our world so beautiful.
