 Bike Parade

Last Tuesday, was our last opportunity for playgroup to meet. We have been meeting every Tuesday at the parks, and the beach depending on the weather.  School starts this coming week. Tara is going to be in kindergarten . I am going to miss her terribly! I can't stand the thought of her being away for 5 days a week. Although it's only 1/2 day, I will miss her terribly.

One of the moms in playgroup had the great idea of having a bike parade. We all went to her house and the kids had sooooooo much fun.  She lives on 10 acres.

We took a walk through the woods, and there was a path which winded, and gently twisted until we were finally led to her neighbors Lama farm.  Kids loved it.

 Rain Drops On Roses...

...are pretty, but flowers "in" raindrops are even more beautiful.

And let's not forget "Whiskers on Kittens"...

 This one's for River Rat...

These are the pictures I did for Rebecca of her little boy. What I did for Kevin was quite different. I created a Power Point presentation for his handicapped daughters 13th birthday. It was a chronicle of pictures from infancy on up. I put it to music, added poetry, and ended with a stream of beautiful scripture. It was a very moving project for me to do and I felt so honored to have had the opportunity. You can read about his daughter and and get a peek into his mind by clicking "kmans house" under blogs I like.

This is the series of before and after pictures.  I actually have them posted early on in my blog, but hey!  There are just too many pages to go back and find them.

In this first set, Rebecca set up the blocks on her computer desk at home, so the view out the window is her own backyard.  She emailed me the background.  I shrunk Caleb and put him at play on mommy's desk.  I also turned him into twins by putting him twice.  I'm really fussy with my Portrait Creations.  You can even see his reflection in the wood grain.

This second set is a fun one too.  I also made the reflection of Caleb's fire truck in the water.  Because I'm so fussy, my work is seamless.  It never looks like a cut and paste job.

 This Mornings Beauties

This next picture is by far one of my all time favorites.

This is the plant that was trapped in the water droplet.  Sedum Spectabile 'Brillant'
