Imagine It

 Today was a big first....

....After much thought, mental design and planning,....

Construction began...

Only the best of materials were used. Not too soft, just the right firmness...

With maticulous attention paid to detail....

Until Madeline, painstakenly, completed her very first sand castle without any help from anyone else.

Such a proud baby girl.

 Did you know....

.....that dragonflies eat each other???

This little beauty did just that!

That's right......eating this pure white dragonfly right before my eyes,  And VERY quickly I might add.  Polished off the wings and all in less than 2 minutes!

But I'm certain that butterflies would NEVER do such a thing!

 From Tara

This child...I just can't say enough about her. She is kind, considerate, helpful, and extremely loving. She is completely in love with her little sister and has amazing patience with her. She says so often "mommy, I love you...". I am so proud of her. I'm proud of who she is, how she is, and whatever she becomes. I am such a lucky woman to have 2 incredible children.

This morning, she went outside and picked me this stunning bouquet of flowers.  They smell so fragrant and sweet.  She picks me flowers very regularly.  I put them in a vase and snapped this picture (per her request), and when I uploaded it, I saw how the bouquet was shaped into a heart.  So fitting from my sweet loving child.

 A bit of nostalgia....

When I passed this barn, I was flooded with childhood memories. It was a time when a family could sit "as a family" and watch quality television together. A time when a child could be carefree and innocent.

"Little House On The Prairie"

When I was a child, it was a time when parents did not have to preview shows, worry about appalling content in everything from store ads, to T.V. commercials and shows, to radio and everything else that seeks to invade, corrupt and destroy the innocent minds of our children today. Little House On the Prairie......Walnut Grove......a time when a child was allowed to be innocent for a long time. Nice memory.
