Imagine It

 My babies

We had lots of fun outside today. I know I'm the mom, and I'm supposed to be biased, but my oh my, I think my girlies are beautiful!!

 Random pictures from today

It was beautiful sunshine today, but not quite summer warmth. Here are some random pictures I took today.

This is Tara's Favorite tree. When she was a little baby, we'd play hide and seek, and she'd stand in "front" of this tree every time thinking that I could not see her. Very cute!

This picture was taken out my front window this morning. I liked how the light filtered through the trees and bushes.

 Field Trip to the Farm

Tara's pre-school class took a field trip to the farm yesterday. Oh what fun the kids had!! There were so many great pictures, that I really had to struggle to weed it down and yet there are still sooooo many here. They got to pet some animals, go on a hay ride, and milk a cow (which Tara wanted nothing to do with). I later asked her why she didn't want to, and she said that "the cow might have spilled milk on me, or even worse, pooped on me!!" You've gotta love the mind of a child! We all had a picnic lunch and the kids played on fun play equipment, and climbed a huge pile of boulders. Madeline had a great time too. She was a very good baby.

The first two pictures are of Tara and her "Best Friend" Haley. These girls love each other dearly.

Okay, I love this picture for more reasons than one. First of all, I love the green growning on the old fence. I love the horse is in the background, which is clearly the focus of the girls attention. But my favorite thing is that when I asked the girls to "look at mommy", Madeline proudly said "Moooooo" for the horse instead of "Neigh"

A sweet goodbye for Tara and Haley

 More amazing peonies

Yesterday, I went out to take a look at the buds and the sugary nectar was literally oozing from them. Apparently it's not just ants who are attracted to the sweet treat. I'm just astounded by the beauty of God's creations when seen thru my camera lense.

 Peony Buds

These are my Peony buds. They will be a feast for the eyes when they open. I always have ants on my peony buds. My mom told me one time that ants are needed for the peony to bloom. I wondered why, and did a google search. I found out that they are not necessary, just attracted to the high sucrose level in the bud. Always learning something new.
