This tiny fairy briefly touched down in the dew one foggy morning. I used my camera's "rapid fire" feature to capture her before she noticed me and quickly fluttered away.

Two sisters, so enamored with each other. Is this a rare moment in time? Are they always this sweet to each other? You bet! Tara treasures her baby sister, and Madeline idolizes her big sister. Tara is protective, nurturing, patient and understanding. Madeline, well she just wants to be just like Tara. I love to watch my girls interact with each other, and this picture was a lucky click of the shutter to capture their love for each other so clearly. I'm a lucky mommy. This picture was taken at Madeline's birthday party yesterday. I'll blog more of her birthday within the next couple days. I can hardly believe that she's 2. Where has the time gone, and why did it go so fast?

It seems that every time we look out our window's these days, there are deer milling about our yard. I took this picture out of my kitchen doorwall window while the girls were eating breakfast. Madeline spotted them.



This one was curious about a pile of weeds in my front yard that I had picked and pruned out of my perennial garden last week. This picture was taken at dusk, so the quality is not very good.

I don't know how many times each week I am uttering the words "Madeline, put your pants back on"...or..."Don't take your pants off, pull them back up". Every time she takes off her pants (and socks), she then puts on her high heels, and continues with whatever she was previously doing. Silly baby!

With Tara and Madeline, bedtime is simply not possible without their "blankies". Again, they are simply cloth diapers that I used on them as babies for when they would spit up (NO! I did not use them as diapers). My poor mother had 7 kids and did cloth diapers for all of us, bless her soul. And for several of her children, she had a wringer washer!! Amazing woman!
