Imagine It

 Tinkerbell

This is Tinkerbell. She is a wild cat who adopted us last August. She has made loving friends with our dog Jack. Jack is an outdoor dog. All winter long, I would find Tinkerbell snuggled up with Jack for warmth. Where ever Jack was, Tinkerbell was usually right there will him. She eats Jacks food and water (along with many mice, moles, and baby rabbits). I have even seen them with their heads in the food bowl together. Jack is so tender and sweet. The cat is constantly rubbing her body up against Jack and gently batting his face. Tinkerbell will not let any of us touch her, but when we are out, she is always very near. This spring, Tinkerbell had her first baby. We don't know if she had more that didn't survive, but she has one left. Today, Tara got to hold her baby for the first time.

Tara has named the baby "Faline", after Bambi's girlfriend.

 She Is Such a Joy

There is so much about her that I love. She is so smart. She loves to share. She is loving and gentle with her sister. She watches out for her. She wants to marry her daddy when she grows up. She said she wants to live with us forever (if only that could really happen!).

She is in preschool. She loves bugs. Whenever I find bugs in the house, she pleads with me to put them in her bug box, even spiders! She has a beautiful heart. She thinks of others.

She used to have hair down to her bottom, and when she learned about it, she wanted to donate her hair to Locks of Love. And now she's growing it out to do that again. She has such a caring heart.

She sleeps with her "blankies" which are cloth diapers that she bonded to as a baby. Madeline did the same thing . She wants to make sure when she dies, that her balnkies come to heaven with her. I keep assuring her that if they don't, just tell Jesus and he'll come back and get them for her.

She is incredibly intelligent. She has been independently reading books now for 9 months, and she'll only be 5 in June. She can add and subtract as well. She loves to cuddle. She is one of my best friends. I am so amazed at the person she is growing to be. I can't imagine life without her. My goodness, I love my children so much!!!!

 More Hidden Treasures

The girlies and I went for a walk today and found these pretty little violets hidden beneath the brush, and knitted within a blanket of weeds. Keep those eyes open for Gods tiny treasures!

Plus this tiny little sapling tree.

 Tiny Miracles

Hidden within a tangled mess of weeds, in a wild part of our property, I found these tiny little beautiful flowers. It's so important to look beyond what we think is pretty, otherwise we might miss the tiny treasures that are hidden within. Outward appearances never reveal the full beauty within.

Our house....

 She's Having a Birthday

She is turning 2 on May 2nd. She hardly speaks. She has ways without words to express her feelings, needs, and desires. I think she's fully capable of talking, but chooses not to. She's afraid of bugs but is fascinated by them just the same....

....She is very affectionate. She loves her big sister with every ounce of her being, that is very apparent. She will do ANYTHING Tara asks her to. She is a momma's girl. She wants to be with me at all times. When we go anywhere, she is fine with everyone as long as mommy is within eye shot. If I'm not, she cries....

....Every time she wears a shirt with a zipper, I have to pin it with a diaper pin. If I don't, she'll take it off. She's afraid of the dark and must have a night light in her room....

....She is sitting in my lap as I write this blog. She is my baby. She is having a birthday. She is growing up.
