Look who came to visit us last night. They started out in my flower garden. This is the first time I've ever seen deer in my flower garden. They stayed and played on our front lawn for quite a while. I just love the fawns. They are so cute and spunky.
Well hello!
It's kinda hard to tell, but in this picture mommy is nursing her baby .
A reassuring kiss
And I think this baby looks like a puppy with her head cocked like that. Such big ears!

Beautiful and your garden is amazing. We had a night visitor the other night, a skunk. I'm a photographer as well, but I thought to myself, if I go out and try to get a shot of it, I could possibly get skunked, and I'm brave, but not stupid. So I had to pass. I should have tried to get one through the door's window and the skunk was under one of our security lights, but believe it or not I just thought about that as I'm typing this. Oh well, maybe he or she might decide to pay us another nocturnal visit. God Bless, Karen

Karen - I don't blame you for being so cautious. I know I certainly wouldn't risk being skunked myself! Thanks for visiting my blog. Please feel free to come back anytime .

Taylor - They are beautiful! As far as being out during the day, here in Michigan, they don't become nocturnal until the fall. During the spring and summer, we always see them during the day. It's hunters that drive them into the nocturnal life, but the herd management is completely necessary with the hunting season. Blessings! - Kelly

How pretty they are and how safe they must feel to visit when it is still light!
Maybe, it's the tasty flowers?
